Ocwen Made Me a Victim

Hi, my name is John Fischer. And the reason I built this website, ocwencomplaints.com is because; I consider myself a victim and I don’t use that word very easy. Let me tell you, I was totally powerless with this company, and I finally got away from them and I’m going to explain a few things to you and I want to assist on the people that are going through the same thing I just went through. Number one, Ocwen actually set me up. They ruined my credit and they had me captive. I was actually a hostage of theirs because my credit was so low, I couldn’t refinance and get the heck away from those guys.

And let me tell you some of the favorite tricks that they pulled on me. Number one, they lose a check. They would say, hey, we placed the check and then they would bounce one of the two checks that they already found. So, they would deposit one check and then deposit the second one. And at that time my mortgage is pretty high, it was around $4,000. That’s a lot, that’s $8,000 in an account, then I was in an extra $4,000, I wasn’t anticipating. But to add injury – to add insult to injury, what we had was a situation where down here in Florida, you had wind, flood, and regular insurance, and somehow the wind and the flood were together, then they split up and I never got a notice from State Farm or a notice from Ocwen that the one of those two had their own policy right now.

Let me tell you, I’m using a lot of restraint because I have a tremendous amount of anger and resentment to these people. They hit me with gap insurance to the tune of $12,000, maybe 24 hours, and these idiots said that they had to go ahead and had to pay for gap insurance. Now, I hired a lawyer. I try to sue them. And of course, these guys are giants, they’re a billion dollar company, they squash me like a bug. But guess what? This bug is going to bite these guys like a fleet and make them pay. And I’m going to tell you something, I’m not very happy with what happened. They went ahead and every time I made a mortgage payment, they applied it to the $12,000 gap insurance and they showed me as being 90 days. I’ve never been 90 days late on a mortgage payment, not 60 days late, I think one time I may have blown one payment. I somehow messed something up. I think that’s the last 20 years, one payment and they showed me 90 days late.

Let me tell you that really ruined my credit for just about everything. It was a constant fight, then I finally hired a lawyer, and we finally settled everything out. We got to the baseline, then they came back the next month and added everything we fought about to the month before – to the statement again. It was three complaints to the Florida Department of a corporations and I can even showed you the letter where they actually apologized for the mistakes they made. They are terrible and I’m telling you right now, if you’re going through the same frustration that I have gone through, luckily I just refinance, I finally got away from them.

And let me tell you, it feels good. I’m a heart patient, had a six level bypass in 2001, congestive heart failure, stroke. And let me tell you, these people almost killed me, almost killed me. The only frustration I had in my life, the only sense of like not having control of my life was these people. They were predatory people. They’re the worst ever .And yet, you get my anger, well, guess what? You’re having problems with them. I have set up a network of attorneys and I will refer you to the proper people and I’ll make sure you don’t go through the pain that I went through. So if you have any questions, please feel free to call me. It’s John Fischer 561-239-0364 and I hope I can be of service to you and hope I can stop the suffering that I just went through.
